Book coaching for educators

You have a book in you. We will help you create it.

From the first idea to a finished, professionally designed book you can hold in your hands and sell. Guided one on one, every step of the way. Start any time.

A real conversation with a real person. No cost, no obligation.

Most educators never write the book they think about. Not because they have nothing to say, but because nobody ever showed them how to start, how to organize it, or what on earth to do with it once the words are finished. That is the part we handle.

You bring the experience. We bring the process: the topic, the research, the outline, the writing support, the layout, the cover, and the publishing setup. You decide how involved you want to be at every stage, and nothing moves forward without your approval.

No topic yet? That is not a problem.

Plenty of people come to us with nothing more than "I have always wanted to write a book." So we start there. We look at what educators are actually searching for right now, where the real gaps are in the field, and which of those fit your experience and where you want your career to go. Then we help you choose the one that is right for you.

If you already have a topic, even better. We start with yours.

What is included

Everything between the idea and the finished book.

How it works

Seven steps, one at a time, with you at every one.

The conversation

A short call with the book team. You describe what you have in mind, or admit you have nothing yet. We explain exactly how it works and what it costs. No pressure, no obligation.

Topic and angle

We lock in the subject, the reader, and the promise of the book. If you need a topic, this is where we look at what the field is actually asking for and match it to your experience.

The outline

Chapter by chapter, built together, approved before anything else happens.

The content

Built out with you at whatever level of involvement you choose, from writing every word yourself to reviewing what comes back.

The package

Interior layout, cover design, final review. This is the point where it starts to look like a real book, because it is one.

Publishing

We walk you step by step through the print on demand setup under your own account. The book goes live.

What to do with it

Ordering copies, selling to schools, signings, press, conferences, and using the book to raise your rate.

As fast as 30 days if you keep to the schedule, and longer if you would rather sit with it. We set the pace with you.

Why it matters

An author is treated differently. Every time.

Schools bring in experts. Conferences book experts. Districts pay experts. A published book answers the credibility question before you open your mouth, and it keeps answering it while you sleep. It gets you on conference programs, it raises what you can charge, it opens doors to interviews and partnerships, and it becomes the single best business card you will ever hand to a principal.

Schools and districts

Bundle copies into a training, or leave one behind that keeps your name on a shelf.

Conference proposals

Being an author moves a proposal from the maybe pile to the yes pile.

Signings and press

Bookstores and libraries host local authors, and local papers still run the release.

Your rate

The fee conversation gets easier when the book is sitting on the table.

Questions

Before you book the call.

Do I need a topic before I call?
No. A lot of people call with nothing but the itch to do it. Helping you find the right topic is part of the program.
Do I have to write the whole thing myself?
Only if you want to. You choose your level of involvement, anywhere from writing every word to handing us your ideas and reviewing what comes back. Most people land somewhere in the middle.
Who owns the book?
You do. Your name, your cover, your publishing account, your royalties. We set it up under you, not under us.
How long does it take?
As little as 30 days if you keep up with the schedule. Longer if you would rather take your time. We set the pace with you.
What does it cost?
We go through the full investment on your call, once we know what you want to create. It is a single price with no surprises, and payment plans are available.
Do I get printed copies?
You can order as many as you like, whenever you like, at print cost. Have them shipped to you for a training, or sent straight to someone who orders one. No garage full of boxes, no minimum print run.
I started a book years ago and stalled. Can I bring it?
Yes. That is one of the easier starting points. We pick up where you stopped.
Is this only for educators?
It is built around education, and that is where our experience is. The process works for any professional subject.

Start with a conversation.

The first step is a short call with our book team. Tell us your idea, or tell us you do not have one yet. We will walk you through exactly how it works, answer everything, and give you the full details including cost. Then you decide.

A real conversation with a real person. No cost, no obligation. Or call (800) 438-1808.
